• Introduction by Dr. Hanspeter Hueter: As General Manager at Hechenbichler GmbH, Dr. Hueter welcomed the participants and focused on intensifying international cooperation, expanding the product range and geographic expansion. He placed particular emphasis on the positioning of AMALGEROL as a unique product in the industry.
   
• Global market for biostimulants: Walid Saad, Business Leader International at Hechenbichler GmbH, provided insights into the growing global market for biostimulants and the associated market trends.
   
• Success stories and market development: Paul Moga-Paler, responsible for Market Development and Innovation in North East Europe, presented impressive success stories of customers who have been able to increase their productivity with AMALGEROL.
   
• Research and development progress: Dr. Jürgen Hacker, Head of Product Development, presented the focal points of the 2022 trial year, with a particular focus on the synergies between AMALGEROL & AMALGEROL ESSENCE and crop protection products as well as the potential with reduced nitrogen fertilisation.
   
• New markets and trial results: The regional focus was on the Canadian market, with promising results presented by Logan Skori, PhD and Technical Development Manager for Canada.
   

• AMALGEROL Academy: Dipl. Biol. Anna Radtke, PhD, presented the newly established AMALGEROL Academy, a forward-looking educational project for detailed specialist knowledge.
   

• Module development for partners and customers: Dr. Elisabeth Grund and her team from Product Development are working on the development of various modules to support our business partners and customers in their daily work.

Impressive scientific papers were presented at the AMALGEROL Conference, providing new insights into the use and efficacy of AMALGEROL and AMALGEROL ESSENCE. These findings emphasise the importance of biostimulants in modern agriculture.

• Dr. Alejandro Pérez | Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain:
  "Crop Agronomical and Physiological Response to Biostimulation with AMALGEROL". Results obtained during the FMC-UPCT Agricultural Sciences Chair demonstrated the positive effects of AMALGEROL on agricultural crops under different conditions.
   
• Dr. István Parádi | CEO ExperiPlant Ltd, Hungary:
  "AMALGEROL and Mycorrhiza: Experimental Results". This presentation highlighted the synergistic effects between AMALGEROL and mycorrhiza, an important component for soil health.
   
• Prof. Dr. Mario Lešnik | University of Maribor, Slovenia:
  "AMALGEROL ESSENCE Results on Wheat and Grapes". He presented promising results of the application of AMALGEROL ESSENCE on wheat and grapes.
   
• Aleksandar Metodiev | Hechenbichler Representative for Bulgaria, Romania & Moldova:
  "AMALGEROL ESSENCE - Application Twice per Season. Why?". This presentation explained the benefits of applying twice per season.
   
• Bendegúz Takács | HECHTA Kft., Hungary:
  "AMALGEROL with Soil Pesticides - Project Experience from Hungary". Takács shared valuable experiences from projects involving the integration of AMALGEROL with soil pesticide programmes.
   
• Sleiman Menassa | Greenyard Agri SAL, Lebanon:
  "AMALGEROL & AMALGEROL ESSENCE Updated Activities in Lebanon and Development on Bananas". This presentation showed the successful application and development of AMALGEROL in banana crops in Lebanon.
   
• Dr. Alejandro Pérez | Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain:
  "Consequences of AMALGEROL Application to Soil in Crops under Semi-arid Conditions". Pérez highlighted the positive effects of AMALGEROL on crops in semi-arid conditions.
   

Positive prospects for the future
 

The variety of possible applications and the different conditions in the various countries were discussed in depth. There is a continuously positive forecast for sales of AMALGEROL and AMALGEROL ESSENCE for 2023 and the following years. This underlines the growing importance of the market for biostimulants.
