AMALGEROL ESSENCE increased yield, berry size and uniformity in table grapes

At the National research institute of plant protection in Pécs, Hungary, grapevines were treated 5 times with 4 l/ha AMALGEROL ESSENCE (in 400 l water per hectare).

The trial was conducted in a commercial vineyard with a randomized block design with 4 replications.

The statistical analysis revealed that AMALGEROL ESSENCE significantly increased the average bunch weight by 26 % (Fig. 1), the average yield per trunk by 34 % (Fig. 2), and the average size of the berries by 10 % (Fig. 3).

+ 34 % more yield

+ 10 % bigger berries

Fig. 1. The average bunch weight is given from the measurement of the weight of 5 bunches per each plot and also calculated from total yield and the number of the bunches on each plots. Bunch weight of the AMALGEROL ESSENCE treated trunks lay 26 % above untreated trunks.

Fig. 2. The AMALGEROL ESSENCE treated trunks produced 34 % more yield than the untreated trunks.

Fig. 3. The size of the berries is measured subsequently in mm on 25 berries. Berries of the AMALGEROL ESSENCE treated vines were 10 % bigger than those of the untreated vines.

Fig. 4. Typical untreated bunch: Irregular berry size and colour.

Fig. 5. Typical AMALGEROL ESSENCE-treated bunch: Uniform berry size and colour.
